Practice Yoga With Me

Corporate Yoga Classes

Over the past eight years I have provided a variety of yoga and meditation offerings to companies investing in the many benefits of Yoga and Meditation for their employees.

My corporate yoga classes range from 30 minutes to 75 minutes, and each class is adapted to the needs and requirements of the company and attendees.

The benefits of a regular yoga practice are infinite, but to name a few, attendees can expect to experience stress-reduction, improved mood, increased resilience, productivity, engagement, creativity, and an ability to more calmly navigate uncertainty and change.

Please contact me to arrange a call to learn more and to discuss the wellness needs of your company or team.

Public Yoga Classes

In addition to corporate classes I have also taught for a number of studios in Dublin, and hosted my own regular weekly classes via Zoom.

For details on how to book a place in these classes, please follow the links below which I update in accordance with my current schedule.

Recordings of my own Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra classes are available on request if you would like to practice on your own schedule.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a practice in which we spend 3-5+ minutes in long-held, static postures to improve the stability and mobility of the joints, and to nourish our dense connective tissues. Mentally and emotionally this practice of slowing, softening and sitting still provides a myriad of benefits for our well-being. It is a simple and powerful mind/body meditation.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa means ‘breath-initiated-movement’. In this practice we seek a dynamic form of stability, moving through a series of dynamic, rhythmic movements, and using standing poses to build strength and stability in the body. While it is a dynamic and therefore faster-paced practice that Yin Yoga, we treat it as an intention-infused moving meditation.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a transformative meditative practice which allows us to move quickly and easily into a deeply-relaxing altered state of consciousness that promotes healing, problem-solving, creativity and self-inquiry. To participate in this practice all you need to do is lie down, ensure you are warm and comfortable and listen to a guided meditation.

My Teaching Approach

I am particularly interested in and passionate about bringing yoga into the lives of people who have not yet experienced it, or who have tried it in the past and felt it didn’t suit them. Yoga is for EVERYBODY. So often people mistakenly think that it is for the ‘flexible’, or for women with certain body types, or people who are able to sit still. On the contrary, we do not need to look a certain way to practice yoga. We practice it to improve our mobility, our strength, and our ability to slow down and sit with ourselves. You will immediately experience the benefits, and no pushing towards aesthetic goals is necessary.

You do not need to be able to ‘perform’ certain poses to practice yoga. This aesthetically-obsessed version of yoga that is often presented is far from the true practice of yoga, and unfortunately excludes many people from reaping the benefits of it. The practice and experience of yoga can be experienced by all people, and the mental and emotional benefits it provides are a potent medicine for the uncertainty and anxiety many of us face in the world today.

  • This was my first Yin Yoga experience

“... so I didn’t know how I would feel holding poses for such a long time. These classes with Jane have provided me with grounding in a time of such shifting sands and something to look forward to in difficult weeks. Other weeks it has given me time to check in with myself and offered a sense of weekly structure. Generally, it has benefited me physically and mentally a lot, and in managing my emotions. I love the poems and pieces of wisdom Jane reads to us.”

    — Siobhán, The Netherlands

  • It has calmed me down in a period of anxiety

“I had never practiced yoga before so was unsure at first about joining the class. However, it has benefited me in many ways. It has calmed me down in a period of anxiety and given me a welcome routine on a Sunday evening. Jane’s voice and manner is very calming, and I particularly enjoy the Yoga Nidra at the end of the class. ”

    — Diana, London

  • The class has benefited me in so, so many ways.

“During Lockdown and at the height of COVID worries is was such a grounding space to frame the end of each week and set me up for whatever the following week held. Now that I’m back to my normal ‘stresses’ (along with covid) it is like a calming comfort blanket on a Sunday evening, grounding me down and setting me up for whatever is thrown at me. It’s my Sunday headspace. Completely my time where I have no worries or problems.”

    — Sharon, Dublin

  • I absolutely love Jane’s Yin & Yoga Nidra classes.

“It has improved my flexibility and reduced aches and pains, leaving me super-relaxed and calm, and more attuned to my body. I particularly enjoy the Yoga Nidra and the poems. I have recommended it to several people, as its soothing and relaxing, as well as being good for the body. This is a calm, slow-moving class that involves some introspection.”

    — Alisa, Psychotherapist & Cellist, London

  • I really like the air of serenity of the class

“I had hesitations in joining any yoga class. I had tried yoga once before and found it too difficult to manage, and I was also concerned about trying a new physical exercise class online rather than in person. I really like the air of serenity of the class which is very effective and the effect afterwards which continues for some time. I like the physical challenges of the poses, some of which I find difficult, and I feel calm and well-stretched, mentally as well as physically after the class. I look forward to that feeling at the end of a long week. I have found that the poses improve my posture, and body strength, and that benefit more generally from the feeling of wellbeing which is engendered through the practices of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra.”

    — Yvonne, London

  • I would recommend it to others for its restorative effect,

“Physically this class has benefited me through the resting and stretching of the body. Mentally, it has also benefited me through the discipline of staying still and tuning in. Psychologically its been beneficial thanks to its regularity and the deep rest possible. I most enjoy the spaciousness of the classes. Being allowed to rebound after each pose is brilliant! I would recommend it to others for its restorative effect, and suggest also that pyjamas are just fine, as not a lot happens!”

    — Susan, London
